The Girls Learn To Sew Program is perfect for girls age 9 to 16. It is a beginner sewing course that teaches the basics of how to use the sewing machine and how to follow instructions from a sewing guide book. A beginner student always starts with the Introduction to Sewing Class where they are taught how to use the sewing machine and start making a simple project. The students then proceed at their own pace according to their age, capability, and maturity. Goals are set at the beginning of each class so that accomplishments are projected. The one-hour class schedule allows the students to maximize their sewing time and they eagerly look forward to the next class.
