Important Details

  • For ages 17 and up

  • Bring your own fabric and notions for each project. A list will be sent out once registration is complete.

  • Sewing machines and tools are provided. Do not bring your own.

  • Sewing instruction manual and sewing patterns (when needed) are included.

  • Projects are planned and selected to practice the sewing skills presented. Students may not choose their own projects unless it's a special arrangement.

  • Pattern-making is not part of the Learn To Sew program.

  • Strictly no companions allowed inside the studio during class.

  • All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • We start PROMPTLY. No extension will be given to late-comers.

  • Once the class is confirmed, all reservations are confirmed. Students may no longer request for schedule changes. 

The Sew Easy Adult Workshops are designed for enthusiasts 17 and up who have little or no experience using a sewing machine. Maybe you remember sewing back in high school home-ec using an old machine and would like to try it again. Perhaps you just want to learn something new and brag to your friends (and mother-in-law). Maybe you've always wanted to learn how to sew but found no one who can teach you. Good news... this course is perfect for you!

 

These workshops will get you started and teach you all you need to know to run a sewing machine with confidence, and stitch away wonderful projects in no time. Because skills are presented in progression and instruction is conducted with hands-on practice, the student's learning is meaningful and practical. The goal is to achieve success one step at a time. Days: Saturdays and Wednesdays (see schedules posted HERE)
Time: 1:30-4:30 pm* 
Class Size: max. 5 students
Workshop Fee: 3,500* per workshop (+500 for First-Timers)
Reservation Fee: 2,500 via bank deposit

 

*All beginners must take the Intro to Sewing Session (+P500) at 1-1:30 pm.
